May 1, 2010 product refinement, innovation and new technologies are always our highest priority at Brightscreen®. The bar has been raised once again, and most probably for the final time for our composition and Crop Lines®. Our patented and patent pending Crop Lines® and designs now have a newer and even better look. Our prior technologies, that we originally invented decades ago are now being used by others who have copied, are etchings cut or marked into camera focusing screens. Our new, and now patented and patent pending processes and designs include adding our crop and composition designs to (not into) camera focusing screens.  This process renders much more desirable viewing and cosmetic results, and is also much easier to see and use under all lighting conditions. New additions to designs also include many options not available from any other sources, including our crop design masks that block out image viewing areas which are not included in the desired image print aspect ratio areas. New "state of the art" computerized production machinery was purchased and installed late April 2010 to help streamline faster, more accurate, expanded designs and improved production. Look for numerous new combination and unlimited individual custom composition and crop designs to be announced very soon. Other patented applications also include some "in camera inserts" available for selected camera models. Crop Lines® is a registered trademark and the application of adding composition and crop designs to camera focusing screens was invented by Brightscreen® decades ago.
